We are pleased to announce that the pool will be opening on Saturday, May 29th, Memorial Day weekend! As of the time of this writing, it is our expectation that Governor Northam will be removing most, if not all, COVID-19 mitigation restrictions on May 28, 2021. After consulting with SwimMetro, our pool management contractor, it was decided to open the pool as normal. There will not be sign-ups for pool time and COVID waivers will not be required at each entry. Masks and social distancing will not be necessary for those fully vaccinated; however, if you are not fully vaccinated, you should wear a mask and socially distance yourself from others. As always, we ask that if you are ill, you refrain from coming to the pool. SwimMetro will not be requiring proof of vaccination at this time.
While this is exciting news, we want to be very clear that if the Governor leaves any restrictions in place on May 28th or reinstates restrictions at any time during swim season, SwimMetro will make the necessary changes to pool admissions, which could include pre-registration, limited entry, and/or waivers.
Below is important information regarding pool opening and access:
Pool Passes: Your access card will be your pool pass this season, so if you don’t already have one of these cards or would like to order additional cards, please order them as soon as possible, as they take time to program. The cards are $10 each and the order form, which also serves and the Acknowledgement of Pool Rules and Waiver of Liability, can be found at the bottom of this webpage. This form can also be picked up in the onsite Association Office during normal business hours. Completed forms can be dropped off along with a check for $10/access card to the office, left in the Association drop box located outside the office door, or emailed to MariahR@DodsonProp.com. Residents who email their forms to us will have the $10/access card charge added to their account, which must be paid online before cards are issued. Once your cards are programmed, we will send you an email or call you to let you know your cards are ready for pick up.
Waiver/Acknowledgement: Each household, including those who already have access cards, will need to sign and return the Fitness Center/Swimming Pool Waiver of Liability and Aknowledgement Form. This form can be found at the bottom of this webpage or can be picked up in the onsite Association Office. Completed forms can be droped off in the office or emailed to MariahR@DodsonProp.com.
Pool Rules: A copy of the Pool Rules can also be found at the bottom of this webpage or in the onsite Association Office.
