Question: I forgot my password. Is there a way to retrieve my password information from the site?
Answer: Yes. On the Login Screen, there is a link labeled 'Forgot your Password?'. Click on that. On the next screen, either enter your name as if appears in the profile or enter your email address as it appears in the profile. NOTE: The 'Forgot my Password' function will not work unless you have a valid email address listed in your User Profile.
Question: How do I add my picture/information so it shows up on the website?
Answer: Click on the 'My Brickshire->my Profile->User Profile' link on the menu. On this page, you may enter as much or as little information as you wish to share about yourself. When you are done, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
Question: How do I hide my personal information so other residents cannot see it when they click on my profile?
Answer: Much of the information in the User Profile can be marked to hide. Additionally you can simply not enter information, or delete it from your profile.
Question: Can my spouse or other residents at my address have their own user account?
Answer: Yes, the property manager can add additional user accounts to each address.
Question: How do I use the Bulletin Board?
Answer: One of the best ways to communicate with other members of the community is through our bulletin board. Any logged in user may create a message board topic and post a message. To create a bulletin board Topic: Click on Bulletin Board on the Menu Bar, and then click on a category. Use the New Thread button to start a new topic. Enter a Title and Message, and then Submit. If you don't see a good category to post your message in, please let the property manager know, and they may be able to add a new category for your needs.
Question: Can I place Real Estate listings on the website (Homes/Lots for Sale/Lease)?
Answer: If you are trying to sell or rent your home or an empty lot in the community, you can place your listings on our website for free! Simply go to the 'Classifieds->My Ads' link on the menu and use the Add New tab to post your ad. There may categories to choose from, you can even post Reviews and Recommendations.
Question: What is CERT?
Answer: Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a state-sponsored program to train communities in how to prepare for and deal with the aftermath of catastrophic disasters, such as hurricanes, ice storms, etc., in order to save lives and protect property.
